The Globe finally covers the saga of pirate radio station Touch FM, but says that the station at 106.1 MHz is an example of an illegal station broadcasting below 100 MHz. Um, no, it's an example of an illegal station broadcasting below 100 watts.
Still, at least it's an interesting story, unlike Kevin "I'm channeling Brian McGrory as fast as I can" Cullen's revelation that, boy, Dyan Cannon sure is old (what, Kev, no Jack Nicholson jokes?).

I am by no means a shill for the Reporter, but you want to know what will be in the Globe next week than read the Dorchester Reporter today. The Pirate Radio was a front page story of the Reporter on May 15th.

The Globe is a bunch of lazy hacks & wouldnt know a good story if it kicked them in the ass....

Cullen stuck it to you guys in response to the Boston Magazine article, and it's killing you.
I'm no Cullen fan, but the criticism of him here and in BM is petty and off the mark, sorta like David Scott's bogus attacks on Bill Simmons.
Why is it off the mark?

What was good about his column today (other than that it ended, that is)?

jack nicholson
funnily enough is pictured directly to the right of the column where he is bemoaning the fact that celebrities are injected all over the place. Et Tu, Boston Globe? Guilty as charged I guess... inserting ole jack jokerface and other celebs du jour all over the place.
Cullen's column today....

...was remarkably incoherent and pointless. I can't believe that anyone gets paid to write stuff like that. ;~{

It would never occur to me to read Cullen's column,
until you point out that it is unreadable.
Then I read it, and confirm that it is unreadable.
Which I think I knew before I read it, which is
why I didn't read it in the first place.
Until you pointed out that it is unreadable.
Got it?
