Boston Pride reports it's rescinded an offer to Anthony Imperioso to be a marshal of the June 11 parade after it turned out he'd posted stuff on Facebook that some might consider racist and classist. Read more.

Tens of thousands of people either marched in the annual Pride parade today or cheered on from the sidewalks along the route. From little kids on parents' shoulders to senior-citizen couples holding hands as they marched, people enjoyed the parade. You could tell some people were really having a ball: Read more.

Former Cambridge Mayor Alice Wolf remembers the day 25 years ago when she opened the doors of City Hall for the city's first Pride Brunch.

Paul Kelleher attended the Pride Parade through the South End, Back Bay and downtown today, posts photos and reports the guy above was bedecked with the names of every single T stop.

Boston City Councilor Felix Arroyo to Proclaim May 18 - May 22, 2005 as Latino LGBT Pride Weekend

Reception to honor Somos Latinos/as and LGBT Community.

Boston City Councilor Felix Arroyo, recognizing and celebrating Boston' s diversity, will formally acknowledge that the Somos Latinos LGBT Coalition (We are LGBT Latinos) has designated the weekend of May 18th through the 22nd as a weekend of Orgullo (Pride), an event where the arts, politics, and culture of the Latino LGBT Community will be presented and recognized as a cohesive and powerful movement in our community-at-large.

There will be a special presentation at the beginning of the Boston City Council meeting on Wednesday, May 18, 2005. The Council meeting starts at 11:30 AM.
