A time-conscious citizen complains the fancy clock in Oak Square is still on standard time. He or she wants that fixed and wants to make sure the city schedules a visit in the fall to put the clock back to standard time.

This identical complaint about the same clock is from 2 years ago:

In a way, having a social complaint tool where people can repeatedly spot the problem and log a complaint makes it less important for someone to create a permanent solution to a problem.

to problems like this one.
Just eliminate this archane tradition of DST. Next fall when "standard time" returns, set all the clocks back one-half hour. And leave them that way - forever!
