If everyone seems to know what a joke this is, why does it keep happening? It clearly must generate revenue to create this nonsense broadcasting. There must be a lot of stay at homes and shut-ins getting enjoyment out of it.

Watching breathless news coverage of storms is pretty much the only decent form of entertainment many of us have all winter. The only time I ever watch the local news is during storms.
