A Red Line train gets all smokey; air at some stations gets a bit chokey

Several hours after a brake-spasmed Green Line trolley filled Copley station with smoke, a Red Line train pulled the same stunt at Broadway, around 4 p.m., sending smoke down the tunnel and into the South Station subway stop.

Red Line service towards Alewife went into delay mode as T workers strove to make the brake-locked train disappear.

Well I guess the worst case scenario would be if the brakes would not lock and the train crash.
