Man charged with double shooting at Mattapan Square restaurant last month

Boston Police report arresting Eddie Osborne, 37, of Mattapan, on charges he shot two men inside Mello Vibez, 473 River St. shortly after 11 p.m. on Feb. 19.

Osborne was arrested yesterday on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, police say.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals with injuries not considered life threatening.
