I just read an article in USAT stating that a Haitian group is suing Vance and Trump for their comments. Of course the Republican AG says they have no merit.
It would be nice to see Trump and Vance be held accountable for their words, it has caused death threats, bomb threats across Springfield, OH. Especially when they admitted it was all made up.
But I would have better luck trying to catch a moonbeam in my hand.. cuz it won't happen. Trump admitting he said something wrong and apologizing would be the same as him admitting he has small hands. It just won't happen.
Not just suing, filing

Not just suing, filing criminal charges. Apparently that's still a thing in Ohio, which it isn't here, or in most of the U.S.
They don't really expect the case to go anywhere, but want to at least make the prosecutor's office justify ignoring what Trump and Vance did.
