if it's Monday, then the Red Line must be having trouble

Got to Central (northbound) at 6:35, train waiting. MBTA email reports "All train service between Alewife and Harvard is operating on the southbound track. Personnel are on scene working to remove the disabled train near Davis from the main line".

 

Train got to Harvard, we were all booted off as they were redirecting the train to go back southbound. We stood on the platform for more than half an hour. In the meantime, another southbound train arrived and the inspectors had trouble determining if the train was going to continue southbound or to turn around and go back northbound.

 

I bailed and got an Uber to work (didn't even want to wait 25 minutes for the 96 which would have gotten me much closer).
