Boston Police report arresting a man on charges he drove into two pedestrians, killing one, on Washington Street between Northampton and Lenox streets on the night of Jan. 18 and then drove off.
At his arraignment in Roxbury Municipal Court today, Christopher Baker, 36, was ordered held at the Suffolk County jail when he couldn't come up with the $150,000 bail set by Judge David Weingarten, court records show.
Baker was charged with motor-vehicle homicide by reckless operation, manslaughter, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of a crash that caused personal injury and death, according to court records.
The crash killed Taylor Wilkinson, 20, and injured a second woman, 23.
Police report that detectives, armed with an arrest warrant, found and arrested Baker Wednesday afternoon at 100 Belvidere St., on the Huntington Avenue side of the Prudential Center.
Innocent, etc.

Leaving the scene of an accident it’s crazy. Time for Justice.
An all-too-rare outcome

I’m glad the police actually tracked down the (alleged) perpetrator.  That’s not the case much of the time with hit-and-run murders.
Hope he gets to experience actual accountability.
Rookie mistake

License to kill only applies if you remain at the scene long enough to provide some excuse to the cops like the victims "came out of nowhere". If you follow these guidelines you will get away with it and they won't release your identity to the public.
