The Huntington News introduces us to Dylan Mitchell, who endlessly bikes around Northeastern's Centennial Common, next to the Ruggles T stop, doing stunts to the sounds of disco and funk blaring out from his bike-mounted speaker.
Although he suspects passersby assume his hobby is performative and that people view him as “that crazy guy with the bike,†he said he has no intention of being seen.Â

Transit Police report arresting a man they say "fully exposed himself" to a young girl and her mother around 6 p.m. on Saturday. Officers on scene then noticed his exposure before he could zip back up after spotting them, police say. He was charged with open and gross lewdness.
Boy, it sure rained buckets early this morning, huh? In case you managed to sleep through it all, you could still get a feel for just how much rain fell inside Ruggles station, where Handmaid captured some of the many fine barrels the T put in to capture all that water inside the station.
Not everything that goes wrong on the T is the T's fault, it seems. First it was the little duck and today, the T says, it had to shut the Orange Line between Forest Hills and Back Bay after an overhead Amtrak power line unspooled or snapped or something near Ruggles, causing problems for the neighboring subway line. Ginnette noticed today that somebody used a marker in the Ruggles busway to ask: "When will this end?"
Yeah, about that. The T announced today the Orange Line would be shut between Ruggles and North Station because of the ongoing Government Center Garage demolition, but a Globe reporter got curious and asked why Ruggles and the T acknowledged it was also to do more work to eliminate the slow zones that it had earlier said it would eliminate during the shutdown, except it turns out they didn't.
No, don't worry, leaking roofs are not (yet, anyway) a problem on the new trains. But riders carrying beer and Gatorade are, Transit Police report. Read more.
A teen faces attempted-murder and gun charges after he allegedly shot somebody in the lower busway at Ruggles on April 18, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.

Transit Police report a man was shot in the lower busway at the Ruggles MBTA station around 6:15 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, but is expected to survive, police say.
The MBTA reports it's managed to get rid of the dead Orange Line train at Ruggles that was gumming up the works, but that riders can expect those dreaded residual delays of up to 15 minutes as it gets trains back to where they were supposed to be.
The Orange Line is a day late in scaring passengers: The MBTA reports delays on the line due to "a signal issue" at Ruggles.
Acting Mayor Kim Janey announced today that, yes, that free Rte. 28 service she prematurely announced in May is really happening this time. Starts Aug. 29 and runs for three months as a pilot on the entire route, from Mattapan Square to Ruggles via Nubian Square. Read more.
