Transit Police report arresting Andrew Cephas, 21, on a variety of gun-related charges for an incident at Ruggles that ended with a shot fired yesterday afternoon.
According to police, Cephas got into an argument with another man at the station's lower busway around 3 p.m.
The confrontation became physical, Cephas being the aggressor, and at some point a gun shot was discharged. No one was struck and Cephas fled the busway.
Transit Police detectives arrested Cephas not long after the incident, police say.
Innocent, etc.

Since he's 21, do you know if he is a student at Northeastern, Wentworth, MassArt, Roxbury Community College, or any other school that is within a short walk of this station?

Today we find out it happened in the bus way. Someone was caught lying at the MBTA. How about assigning one of their two hundred fifty officers to Ruggles station to actually patrol the station.

The T was always known for having the worst ratios of police to riders in the country. It sounds like they still don’t care about retaining their officers so I have to assume it’s still true.
