The morning crew at a New York cable news show was loving that Josh Kraft "imagine Boston as New York" invitation for a fundraiser.
"Good luck to you, Josh Kraft," one anchor said. "We're rootin' for you here in New York."
Five SEIU locals - representing healthcare, human services, higher-ed and state and municipal workers - will endorse Michelle Wu tomorrow afternoon at the 32BJ SEIU union hall downtown.

I can imagine a Boston, or a Milton, or any number of communities that want to provide for its diversifying posterity the nurturing, unique qualities that previous generations benefitted from. The SJC interpreted the law through a looking-glass and delivered a corrupted and flawed decision.
I’s love to find out Kraft’s vision for Boston beyond being an alternative for Developer Wu. Do they share the same radical vision in regard wrecking the town with developments? Also, I was very impressed by news clips on Wu’s performance, but came to learn it cost the taxpayer $0.65 Million to prepare, so this muted my respect a tad.
Developer Wu?

The AI bot has gone off the rails. I'd hate to see what you would have called Marty then - but maybe he's just different some how, right?
As for Boston's "diversifying posterity the nurturing, unique qualities that previous generations benefitted from" yeah, you are right. Our population is back down to only about 650k - well far off from our peak of 800k in the '60s and before.
We need to aggressively build more housing to get back up to those population and density levels of yore so that we can provide the same nurturing experience or whatever AI assisted drivel you pumped out. It would be great to replace all of the dense housing lost from the Pike, i93, Innerbelt/i695 project, and other highway projects along with the razing of the West End, Scollay Square, and all of the arson in the Fens and Roxbury. As for Milton - well they get to rebuild all that was lost in East Milton Square from when the highway ripped through it ! That should help relive what ever nonsense you are on about.
Wait. Displaced to where?

Wait. Where did everybody go during these projects and where are they now?
How much vitality can densification bring if basic community businesses, say dining where, like, a breakfast, a sandwich, or a burger costs as much as a fancy entree did not too many years back? Way outpacing inflation. Who can afford to eat out -period-, and who can afford to eat out and save responsibly? Is it truly a kindness to encourage people to stay in Massachusetts?
(Is it deeze projects, er doze projects?)
Oh no, not captchas!

Was going to comment on the post, then saw the captcha on the bottom of the page. Please don't do that to us! especially not ones that wander all over the place. 😢
or at least not for registered users

If you feel the need to use captchas, can you just have them for people who aren't logged in?
Ugh

Yeah, I get having it on login and for posting for anon accounts... but after someone logs in I feel the captcha on every post is a bit heavy handed...
Sorry about that!

Captcha is now turned off for users with accounts. Yeah, makes no sense to require it for logged-in users; I failed to check the box to disable it for you when I turned it back on.
Thanks!

Should've probably sprung for an actual human designer.

Cheaping out is the Patriot way. Turns out if you don't have a generational talent at QB you don't win sh*t.
SEIU is a bit surprising

although there isn't a true socialist candidate, so we must make compromises. All the unions appear to be lining up early to prove how in the tank they really are. 650K here and 650K there and pretty soon you're talking about real money.

I am 32bj and was offered the chance to ask questions of Mayor Wu when the union was considering endorsing her but was sick so I couldn't go, but I was hoping for a chance to do so with Kraft so I could rip him a new one,
